7-Hydroxy, specifically 7-hydroxymitragynine, is a powerful metabolite of mitragynine, which is the primary active alkaloid found in kratom leaves. It is known for being more potent than mitragynine itself.

7-hydroxy is generally considered safe. However, safety around 7-hydroxy, like other kratom alkaloids, depends on responsible use. High doses or prolonged use may pose risks, including dependence or negative side effects.

Mitragynine is the main natural alkaloid found in the kratom leaf (Mitragyna speciosa). It’s the primary compound that gives kratom its signature character, and many adults choose mitragynine-based products as part of their personal wellness routines for things like everyday balance, ease, and overall sense of well-being.

While kratom and its alkaloids, including 7-hydroxy, are federally legal in the USA, certain states and cities have banned or restricted kratom use. It’s important to check local regulations for specific details.
